Deoxycholic acid (AKA Belkyra/Kybella) is used to permanently destruct fat cells. Deoxycholic acid is naturally present in our bodies to help breakdown dietary fats. A synthetic form can be injected into unwanted pockets of fat such as a double chin. It is recommended to receive 2-4 treatments, however a noticeable difference can be seen with just one treatment.
